It is amazing how quickly we have adjusted to the different temperature here. If it is below 22/23c it does actually feel cold! I go to work most days without a jacket which is rather nice.
Today it has hit 36c in the shade so far and possibly still rising. Won't be much fun for Andy Murray.......
OMG! You will never survive when you come back to the UK. It is freezing here still although the days are longer and I can now walk Lola in the morning in daylight rather than taking the torch! At least it is February now and we can look forward to Spring. Took Lola into the garden this morning and the decking was covered in ice - she was sliding all over the place :-)
ReplyDeleteWe are lucky it if hits 7c during the day at moment and the nights are still minus something or other. 36c in the shade sounds wonderful! Hope you are all making the most of the weather and hitting the beach every day - sure the boys are. They must be looking forward to going back to school later this week - have fun boys the summer is over!!! Ems and Jess are looking forward to half term at the end of February so lets hope it doesnt snow before then!
