We are being picked up on Tuesday morning to be shown round some properties by our relocation consultant and then will spend the rest of the week looking at schools and houses.
We have had a great first week in Port Douglas and it was lovely to be able to finally relax for a bit after such a hectic couple of months. It's exciting to think that we are now heading off to our new home for a couple of years!
We'll keep you updated as the week progresses....CCJS&W
Good luck with the house hunting! Hope its not too cold in Melbourne, just think that you have the spring and summer ahead of you to look forward to. We have the dreary autumn and winter boo hoo. Bank holiday Monday today and the sun is shining!!Forecast good this week at last and it will be lovely now as we all go back to school next week!!

Well we are now back in Blighty and seem to have brought the good weather from Oz - whinging poms or what - don't know what they are all moaning about - weather been bright since we got back!
ReplyDeleteSleep patterns back to normal after long trip - only a 1000 photos and memoriesto remind us of the holiday - wow what a great holiday it was.
Enjoy cold and windy Melbourne - great to catch up in PD.
Hope you had a good flight to Melbourne and you should by now be in your apartment - hope it is as good as it looked on the website. Good luck with the house hunting and I am sure the boys are desperate to find new schools :-) Cant believe the girls only have one more week off school and then it is back to the chaotic routine - except Ems will have to get up much earlier to get to Brockenhurst each day! Weather is lovely at moment - I expect the weather in Melbourne will be a bit of a shock for you all after the sunshine and warmth in Port Douglas. Look forward to seeing photos of houses and hope you manage to find one that you all like very soon. Enjoy your first evening in Melbourne. Love Lisa xx
