The weather here today is nice and sunny....hitting 22c. This morning Jack and Sam played football in a friendly for Brighton. There was a mixture of ages from 14 - 18 and Sam and Jack played on the same team.
They both really enjoyed it and Sam coped really well playing with the older boys/men. In fact he nearly scored twice and set up his team's goal.
This afternoon we had our first BBQ on the terrace which was lovely. Then we decided to drive down the coast a bit to a place called Chelsea. It is about 15 mins from Mordy and the beach just stretches on for miles. There were lots of boats coming in and out of the little harbour. Also there were quite a few jelly fish washed up on the beach - William counted about 8 of them.
Take a look at the pictures on our Flickr site here.
Fab photos - lovely to see some sunshine as very dull and grey in UK! Great to see Jack in so many of photos and good to see he is still cooking :-) Only a week until boys start school, I am sure they are looking forward to it so much. All the shops in UK are filling up with Christmas and Halloween stuff - cant believe it is October this week. Hope the table tennis is going well and that Caroline has managed to beat all the boys by now!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week. Love Lisa xx
I have seen Christmas stuff in the shops here this week. Apparently, they do another Xmas Day for us Pommies on July 25th so that we can celebrate a cold Xmas. As long as kids don't expect more presents I dont mind!!
ReplyDeleteTable tennis table being well used!
Sam, Will and I went to an indoor play centre this arvo (it was raining!) where we played ten pin bowling(I was leading all the way but then somehow Sam equalised(not quite sure how!) and mini golf - I won that so can do Ok on some things!
Joe - thx 4 the card - not too late and it's the thought that counts so thank you!
